Boy Scout Climbing Merit Badge Course

We offer instruction to the Boy Scouts of America for the purpose of fulfilling the Climbing Merit Badge Requirements. Climbing merit badge requirements 5 through 12 will be presented and tested by the end of the session.

Course Details:

  • Course Length : Information will be covered over 2 Days (approximately 3-4 hours per day, but times will vary depending on size of group)
  • All gear necessary to Climb & Rappel is included


Course Pre-requisites:

  • Boy Scouts MUST HAVE a properly signed WAIVER before they may participate in any activity at On The Edge
  • Individuals must be properly dressed for belaying, climbing, and rappelling as per boy scout merit badge requirements
  • Requirements 1-3 will not be covered during this course

  • Fitting into harness and harness inspection

Cost: $55 per participant (5 person minimum)
